The main video “the map is not the territory” is projected across the whole back wall of the Boiler space. On the floor is a planet made out of salt, which shows the line of the first moonwalk as hoof prints and the planted flag of the space rider. The lights along the line depict the star constellation of the first moonwalk. On the ceiling the video” the star constellation of the first moon walk” is projected, which shows a comet move slowly through the star constellation in a 30 min loop. The lights on the sculpture mirror the stars of the constellation above. On the actual boiler at the entrance to the right is a flat screen, which shows the video: “performance following the line of the first moonwalk”. This performance was filmed in October 2012 at the rodeo grounds in Thermopolis, WY. Except the lights on the salt sculptor and the video projections there is no other light source in the space.
